Brad Pitt’s Christmas makeover

In the midst of his bitter divorce from wife Angelina Jolie, it appears Brad Pitt has decided to have a Christmas face makeover to start his new life as a single man. Speculation has grown when recent pictures emerged of his younger, taught looking face.

The fifty-three-year-old mega star is reported to have undergone an array of cosmetic surgery procedures to freshen up his ‘million-dollar face.’ It is alleged that he has had Botox, fillers, peels, and a minor face lift. Beverley Hills doctor,Robert Rey, gave his views on Brad’s changing faceto Radar Online, “Brad Pitt looks significantly younger! It does appear his more youthful look can be possibly attributed to fillers and/or Botox, as well as laser resurfacing or chemical peels.”

Close friends of the star have been reported to be concerned over his changing looks and have told him to stop ‘messing with his face.’It is clear that Brad is going through a very difficult time, due to a nasty custody battle over hissix children and his most recent film, Allied, bombing in cinemas. Jolie has filed for sole custody of their children, which insiders say is taking its toll on Brad, but he is fighting it all the way. Inside Brad may be broken, but his face is looking fresher than ever.

Danniella Westbrook films cosmetic surgery procedure

Ex EastEnders star, Danniella Westbrook, has seen her fair share of the media spotlight recently, with her unfortunate health scare over failed dental implants and various personal dramas that have unfolded. However, this is one story that she was more than willing to share. During an appointment at the Lip Couture Salon in Liverpool, the star filmed herself having cosmetic surgery.

Danniella gave her fans a step by step account of what it is like to have the popular anti-aging treatment, Botox, by posting videos and pictures on SnapChat for all to see. The video shows her grimacing and wincing as the Botox is injected into the ‘crow’s feet’ area around her eyes and into her forehead. She also filmed close up shots of the injections, which were clearly painful from the look on her face.

After the procedure, there were visible raised patches with red blood spot, however, the star seemed pleased by the results of the painful experience, and posted post-surgery selfies of her smiling. Danniella has undoubtedly had a rough year, but despite this, the star seems to be on the up, as she has been pictured laughing with friends and attempting to rebuild her life.

Nicole Scherzinger shows off seemingly fuller lips

Speculation has grown as to whether the X Factor judge and former Pussy Cat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger, has undergone lip filler treatment. Her latest dramatic Instagram selfie showed her pouting her very full lips, in a close up shot. Fans became suspicious after her lips looked sizably bigger than in previous posts.

Nicole took to Instagram whilst in London to celebrate the sun shining in the winter months, however fans were more interested in her growing pout. There was no question in fans’ minds that the star looked great, however they were divided in opinion as to whether they approved of her possible lip fillers. One fan wrote, “Why? You’re a stunning woman, Stop with the lips already… It cheapens your natural beauty,” yet another felt that her lips looked ‘beautiful.’

Nicole has been asked in the past if she has ever had fillers, Botox, or plastic surgery, to which she answered no. Nicole attributed her great complexion to a healthy diet, exercise and plenty of water, however it is likely that this new selfie will raise more questions that she’ll undoubtedly be asked to answer. Her fans will be interested to hear whether she denies the rumours, given that her lips seem obviously bigger than before.

Carol Vorderman sparks rumours of cosmetic surgery

Ex Countdown star, Carole Vorderman, has come under the media microscope this week as fans question whether she has had cosmetic surgery. The speculation has grown since she entered the ‘I’m a Celebrity’ jungle just over a week ago. Carol has made a good impression so far on the popular ITV show, however people seem to be more interested in talking about the stars age and ‘fresh’ looking appearance than her pursuits in the jungle.

Fans took to Twitter to share their views, one fan tweeted, “Don’t even try to tell me Carol Vorderman hasn’t had any work done.”Also, adding further fuel to the fire, OK Magazine reminded readers of an appearance Carol madeon Loose Women back in 2012. The celeb divulged that she would never rule out the idea of having cosmetic surgery.

As Carol is currently in the jungle she has neither confirmed or denied the rumours. However, Clinical Director at Transform, Mark Norfolk, spoke to OK magazine to give his professional opinion, “The first thing to strike me about Carol is her over filled cheeks. Add to this her super smooth and line free forehead which are all classic telltale signs of regular Botox use.” When Carol leaves the jungle, it is likely that this will be one of the first questions she’ll be asked to answer, so time will tell.

Martine McCutcheon discusses her decision to have Botox

Ex EastEnders’ star, Martine McCutcheon, has appeared on an episode of this week’s ITV show, Loose Women to discuss her reasons for deciding to have Botox.

Unlike most celebrities, Martine did not have Botox simply to look younger and to iron out her wrinkles. The star explained in her recent appearance on the show that she had struggled with an illness that left her looking, in her words, ‘ravaged.’ This is what the star had to say, “I just looked in the mirror and thought ‘I’ve always had nice skin, I’ve always had a nice beautiful glow – and now it’s gone’. So I had Botox.” The illness had clearly affected the star and took its toll on her body, to the point where she felt she needed to do something about it.

After having Botox for the first time, Martine explained that she was not happy with the treatment, “I didn’t like it, It made me look a bit strange. But then I had it again and Oh my God, I loved it, I just looked like me but not a creased pillow, basically.” Following Martine’s admission, panellist Ruth Langsford also added that she would be open to the idea of Botox in the future.

Chloe Goodman gains qualifications in facial aesthetics

Celebrity Big Brother star, Chloe Goodman, has recently gained qualifications that will allow her to administer treatments using Botox and dermal fillers. In collaboration with Opiah Cosmetics, the celebrity will now be able to provide no surgical treatments to the public.

In an interview with Digital Spy, the star discussed her new career move, “Me being in the TV industry and breaking into aesthetics, it’s never been done before.People are obviously going to try to knock me down on the way but I’ve done everything to an excellent standard.” The star is well known for having procedures herself, which will give her an understanding from both perspectives.

The inspiration to expand her repertoire came from an appearance on the channel 5 show, Celebrity Botched Up Bodies, where she discussed her own dermal filler disaster. After having botched cheek fillers, the celebrity was left feeling self-conscious and not wanting to leave the house. She intends to continue to have facial fillers but is more clued up now about good practice. What’s more she is motivated to ensure that other people don’t suffer the same misfortune that she did by providing a high-quality service, using the training she has received.

Amy Childs admits regret over cosmetic surgery

Ex T.O.W.I.E star, Amy Childs, has spoken out about her regrets over cosmetic surgery. The reality star is well known for her cosmetic surgery endeavours and has received a lot of media attention over the years. The 26-year-old model and business woman had her first breast augmentation at the tender age of eighteen. Amy now admits that, if she had the time again, she would not have had surgery so young.

As a teen Amy enhanced her breast size from an A cup to a D cup, five years later she boosted them to an ample EE. However, the breast enlargement caused a number of problems, including backache, pain and tenderness and subsequent sagging. Since her first surgery, Amy has undergone a number of other treatments from lip fillers to Botox.

Amy spoke to Closer Magazine about her constant pain following cosmetic surgery, ‘I’m not planning on getting anything else done and don’t think I ever will because surgery has left me with so many problems.’ The reality star has now become a spokeswoman to anyone considering cosmetic surgery, and advises that choosing the right surgeon is of the utmost importance, and has urged people to really think about it before rushing in.

New 3D Botox scan under development

A new pioneering 3D Botox scan is under development to allow patients to see a preview of what their Botox or dermal filler treatment will look like in advance of the procedure. The technology has been developed in South Australia and practitioners are hoping it will be unveiled to the public soon.

The 3D scan has been developed at Epiclinic by Dr Michael Molton after he became frustrated by the standard 2D ‘before and after’ shots that are currently available. The after shots very often show the results in a more flattering light and with makeup which can be misleading to patients, and can often result in disappointment and heightened expectations. Dr Molton was quoted on the New Scientist website as saying, “I wanted something that you couldn’t fudge, like CT or MRI scans that are used in other areas of medicine.”

Dr Molton is hopeful that the new technique will be a more precise prediction of the results and is trialling it first with dermal fillers. The software element of the scan, which has been developed by Mohammed Bennamoun of the University of Western Australia, will generate a 3D contour map to show the expected results of the Botox or fillers. The software works using algorithms to give a detailed concept of how the face will look after treatment.

Robbie Williams comes clean about cosmetic surgery

Former Take That legend Robbie Williams has confessed to having cosmetic surgery, and at the moment he says he is unable to move his forehead due to Botox injections. Robbie admitted to having a number of other procedures, including dermal fillers in his face.

Speaking at the Attitude Awards in London earlier this week he discussed candidly the procedures he has had, and accepted that his life style is starting to catch up with him. Robbie has always been known for his wild life style of drinking, smoking and partying, and feels that this has contributed to his aging. “I’ve had some fillers, and some Botox, and I’ve had something done to my chin which means I can’t even move my… forehead.” Robbie has also had laser treatment to smooth his skin.

Since the turn of the century, cosmetic surgery has seen a sharp increase in men going under the knife. Statistics show that there has been an increase of one hundred and ten percent, with treatments such as Botox and fillers becoming more popular with the male population. It is estimated by BAAPS (The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) that nearly five thousand men had cosmetic surgery just last year.

Chloe Goodman admits she is addicted to lip fillers

Celebrity Big Brother and Ex on the Beach star Chloe Goodman recently appeared on the Channel 5 show, Celebrity Botched Up Bodies, and admitted that she is totally addicted to lip fillers. Speaking candidly on the show, the star revealed that she does not want to ‘grow old gracefully’ and cannot ever see a time where she will not have the procedure as she is completely addicted.

Before Chloe first appeared on the MTV show she says she never really thought about her appearance. However, after seeing herself on camera and reading negative comments from viewers, she became increasingly critical of her looks and turned to cosmetic surgery to boost her self-confidence. “I would look at the show and think I could have looked better… I was so addicted to refreshing my Twitter feed it was a joke. I was so interested in how everyone thought I came across and how I looked.”

Before appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, Chloe had fillers in her lips and cheeks and Botox in her face, which caused a backlash of negative comments. Chloe admits that she regretted having so much work done in such close proximity, but also says that the procedures became ‘addictive from the very first injection.’
