Helena Bonham-Carter was photographed this week looking as though she was in need of some teeth whitening treatment.

The Daily Mail said the 44-year-old actress certainly seemed as though she had lost some of her dental shine as she posed on the red carpet for the premiere of The King's Speech.

Although she looked great in a tartan skirt suit with secretary-style spectacles, Bonham-Carter's teeth appeared somewhat yellow and stained under the harsh lights of the camera flashbulbs.

The kooky actress stars as Queen Elizabeth opposite Colin Firth as King George VI in the new movie, which tells the story of the monarch and his stammer.

"Let's hope if the talented actress is in line for Oscar success next year that she sorts out some teeth whitening for the big night, otherwise the trophy won't be the only yellow on show," the Daily Mail commented.

Earlier this month, actor Simon Pegg revealed in the Metro that he had teeth whitening when he first went to LA in order to play the lead role in Hot Fuzz.
