Woman credits Botox with improving self-confidence
A woman has praised Botox and credited it with improving her self-esteem after she had the treatment for her angular jaw.
Kimberley Taylor, 27, told Dentistry.co.uk she had been grinding her teeth in her sleep for years, which had resulted in her jawline looking pronounced.
She finally decided to have a combination of Botox and dermal fillers and said she is thrilled with the results.
“My square face shape really affected my confidence … I truly love my new look,” Ms Taylor commented.
The healthcare practitioner has been left with a softer jawline and revealed she was even asked if she had lost weight after her treatment.
Earlier this month, Mintel revealed that around 1.1 million people in the UK tried non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as Botox in 2009, up from 950,000 the year before.
Senior health and beauty analyst Alexandra Richmond said better accessibility to such procedures is helping to drive the increase.
