Lip lines ‘can be treated with botox’
To reduce the signs of aging one industry commentator has claimed botox could help.
Writing for EmpowHer.com, Cathy Enns explained that as people age the skin around the mouth loses tone and elasticity, which can cause wrinkles to appear.
She recommended individuals who are unhappy with fine lines around the mouth consult a specialist who can assess if botox will alleviate the symptoms.
The reporter said: “Sometimes the smallest problems can contribute a great deal to an aging look. Oddly enough, small trouble spots can also be some of the most difficult to treat.”
Ms Enns described how the vertical fissures are often common on the upper lip of people who smoke and vary in depth.
She suggested that botox may be prescribed for those whose furrows are the consequence of repeated mouth movement and commentated that the treatment can last a number of months.
Writing for the Style List, Grace Gold recently warned botox consumers to ensure they seek treatment at a reputable clinic.
