Actress Lindsay Lohan has mocked comedian Joan Rivers over her much publicised use of cosmetic treatments such as botox.

After the 77-year-old poked fun at the troubled star, who was recently sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating her drunk driving charge, Lohan took to Twitter in response, Us Magazine reports.

“All she needs is her botox doctor, ‘Dr’ Drew- any ideas? Botox rehab reality show?” the Mean Girls actress wrote on her page.

The 24-year-old advised Rivers, who had referred to Lohan’s recent outburst in court, not to “throw stones if you live in a glass house”.

DJ Samantha Ronson came to the defence of her ex-girlfriend, telling the pensioner to aim her insults at someone her own age.

According to the Internet Movie Database Rivers has botox and collagen injections every four months and first began using plastic surgery when she had an eye-lift at age 32.
