Teeth Veneering

Teeth Veneering

What is teeth veneering? Dental veneers are a way of improving the look of the teeth by placing porcelain laminates over the top of them. Some people may experience staining, chips, breakages or other aesthetical damage to their teeth through accidents, general wear and tear or simply through aging. Veneers are a great way of covering over these issues and providing a beautiful, straight, white smile.

Why have veneers?

Veneers have many advantages and are also an instant way of getting a great looking smile. Veneers can correct mild to moderate misalignment and gaps in the teeth. They can also cover over staining, damage, and discolouration. They look extremely natural and are generally not susceptible to discolouration from food and drinks. Many patients also find that their confidence is significantly improved when they have veneers.

Veneer options

Pearl Dental Clinic have a great range of veneers to suit different situations and individual needs. For patients with a smaller budget composite veneers are available. These are much cheaper than other types of veneers but are still durable and aesthetically pleasing. Composites start from £195 per tooth and are a great alternative to the more expensive options. If a patient is wanting thinner veneers with minimal preparation then Lumineers, Durathin, and EMAX veneers are a great option. For a high quality, natural finish there are MAC and da Vinci options. The clinic also offers trial smiles at a fraction of the cost. With this option, patients can try out veneers before committing to more permanent fixtures. This will give a realistic view of what they will look like and the shade of white that is most suitable.
